Rev. Aaron Office Hours

Rev. Aaron’s office hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Friday is his Sabbath Day. He can be reached at stmrector@gmail.com or the church phone: 780-437-7231. Messages will be checked often.   

Homes for Heroes Fundraiser

As was discussed at the AGM, our fundraising project this year is going to be Homes for Heroes, with a fundraising goal of at least $10,000. 

Their mission is to provide housing and support for homeless veterans. They provide housing, onsite caseworkers, counsellors, job training, and more. 

See below for ways you can donate. Please make sure to note that the donation is for Homes for Heroes. For more information, please see the display board in the foyer. To date we have raised $1274 – thank you! 

Mid-Week Eucharist and Scripture Study

Join us on Wednesdays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for a mid-week Eucharist, followed by looking at and discussing the coming weeks scripture readings. Please bring your own lunch. 

Snow Removal Help Needed

Help is needed for Sunday morning snow shovelling of the church walkways. Can you help? Please talk to Chris Nelson. Thank you in advance! 

TODAY! St. Patrick’s Day Potluck Supper: 

You are invited to join us for a festive St. Patrick’s Day Potluck Supper on Sunday, March 16th at 6:00 p.m. Please bring a dish to share. See the sign-up sheet in the foyer to indicate your attendance. 

Men's Bible Study

The men are starting a new study on Ephesians. They meet Thursday mornings online from 8:00 to 9:30 AM. Anyone interested please contact Doug Sanderson for more information.

Board Games Night: March 21 

All are welcome to come and join us for Board Games Night at the church. Come drop in the evening of Friday, March 21st at 7:00 p.m. for some fun! Bring a snack to share and your favourite game. Any questions? Talk to Chris Nelson. 

No Sunday School: March 23 

Due to availability, we will not be having Sunday School next week on March 23rd during the 10:30 a.m. service. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. 

Lunch Bunch: April 10

The next Lunch Bunch will be April 10th at St. Margaret's Church. Please come and join us for a time of fun and fellowship. Everyone is welcome.

The doors will open at 11:30 and lunch will be served at 12:00 noon. There is a sign-up sheet in the front foyer.

Rental Supervisors Needed

As we anticipate the re-opening of the church building to rentals, we are looking for Rental Supervisors. This is a paid position ($20/hr.) for someone to be on-site during the duration of building rentals, opening and closing the building for the renter, answering questions, etc. We would like to develop a roster of people available to fill this position.
