Homes for Heroes Fundraiser
As was discussed at the AGM, our fundraising project this year is going to be Homes for Heroes, with a fundraising goal of at least $10,000.
Their mission is to provide housing and support for homeless veterans. They provide housing, onsite caseworkers, counsellors, job training, and more.
See below for ways you can donate. Please make sure to note that the donation is for Homes for Heroes. For more information, please see the display board in the foyer. To date we have raised $4423 – thank you!
Mid-Week Eucharist and Scripture Study
The Wednesday 11:00 a.m. Eucharist and Scripture Study will be on a break from June through August. We will resume in September. Keep an eye out on the announcements for a start date.
Sunday School Summer Break
The last day of Sunday School before Summer Break will be Sunday, June 22nd. We give a big THANK YOU to all our Sunday School teachers and helpers for their faithful service!
Men’s Online Bible Study
The last day for the Men’s Online Bible Study before a summer break will be Thursday, June 26th.
The Family Gathers for Living Water: July 2
This summer there will be four intergenerational events for all ages at St. Margaret's, called “The Family Gathers for Living Water”. The dates and themes are as follows:
· Wednesday, 2 July - Well of Living Water
· Wednesday, 16 July - God's Comfort from Living Water
· Wednesday, 6 August - Remembering God's Promises
· Wednesday, 20 August - Gathering at the River of Life
We will start with a child friendly dinner at 6:00 pm. This will be followed by worship time to include songs, then a choice of craft/activity or Bible Study. We will close with prayer by 8:00 pm. We hope you can attend one or all events! Please see the sign-up sheet on the foyer table for the July 2nd event.
